The University of Arizona pain doctors includes members of the Departments of Anesthesiology and Pharmacology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine with the goal of improving the treatment of pain through research and education. An important focus of the Institute is translational research which aims to design clinical studies based upon concepts identified in the laboratory.

Research: 

The University of Arizona pain doctors are committed to supporting quality research related to pain biology and pain management. The members strive to bring together scientists and physicians of diverse backgrounds to provide multi-disciplinary approaches which will bridge the gaps between preclinical studies, clinical trials, and incorporation of new advances into clinical practice.

Guest speakers from around the world visit the Institute to present their exciting new discoveries.

Members of the University of Arizona pain doctors are nationally and internationally recognized physicians and scientists with expertise in pain biology and pain treatment who are members of the faculty at the College of Medicine, The University of Arizona.
